Michael single-handedly established the business in 1964 and with years of hard work gained valuable experience and became one of the leading auctioneering firms in the country. Michael has been a registered Professional Associated Valuer since 1984 and a member of the South African Institute of Valuers since 1985. He has further been an Appraiser appointed by the Minister of Justice since 1969. Michael is a member of the Maritime Law Association of South Africa and has conducted a vast amount of marine auctions both locally and abroad.

| Andrew James - Managing Director |
Andrew joined the company in 1988 and since then has taken the company to new heights in the auctioneering field. He established the Port Elizabeth Branch, which has proven to be highly successful in the vehicle trade and is rapidly growing from strength to strength. Andrew is a registered Appraiser appointed by the Minister of Justice and has been a member of the South African Institute of Auctioneers since 1996. His dynamic personality has made him a much-demanded auctioneer in our province. His extensive management experience and passion for the auctioneering industry is the driving force behind our very successful team.

| Samantha James - Director |
Samantha joined the company in 1993 after completing her studies and brings with her a strong background in the auctioneering industry. Her strong leadership skills and in-depth knowledge of the auction industry resulted in her being appointed director and shareholder of our company in 1998. She manages the administrative controls of all our branches as well as overseeing the advertising, accounting and client relations pertaining to all auctions. She is also actively involved in our sales and marketing and projects the strength from the heart of our company that makes us one of the top leaders in this field.

| Brigette Hindley - Vehicle Manager ( Western Cape) |
Brigette joined our company in 1998 and brought with her a strong background and knowledge of the motoring and trucking industry. She has become a well-respected member in the vehicle trade. She manages the sales and safety of our repossessed vehicles. She has a heavy-duty truck license and is capable of transporting all types of vehicles. Brigette also specialises in valuations for estate and liquidation purposes.
Her sound discipline and professional manner has made her a valuable part of our team.

| CJ Du Toit - Auction Consultant |
CJ joined the company in 1993 and was instrumental in opening Winelands Auction Gallery in Stellenbosch, CJ's area of expertise is antiques and art and he has gained extensive knowelege in this field over the years. Currently he heads up the Decor in Motion division of our auction centre which specialses in the sale of niche market decor items, furniture and antiques. CJ also specialises in valuations for estate purposes.

Lully joined our company in 2005 and has the "perfect C cup" of everyone in the company. She is P.A to Michael and Samantha James and assists with all valuations for estates and liquidation purposes and administration thereof. She has strong people skills and a great asset to our company.

Nikki joined our company in May 2007 bringing with her new ideas from where she worked for 13 years for one of the largest liquor companies in South Africa, here she gained experience in the Marketing and PR departments, also co-ordinating one of the largest wine auctions in the world. Nikki designs all the advertisements as well as being PA for the CEO.

Originating from the banking world Rob has a good understanding of how an auctioneering company runs and what procedures are followed when procuring liquidation and insolvency matters. | JOEY BURKE (BSOC SCI) |
Joey Burke has been in the auctioneering industry for 30 years and comes from a family of auctioneering in Zimbabwe where his father put him on the auctioneering pedestal at the age of 12 years.
He has a degree from the University of Cape Town in Social sciences and since he immigrated to South Africa from Zimbabwe he has been actively involved in the auctioneering industry.
Joey Burke recently resigned from the Alliance Group and joined the Michael James organization in January 2008 as the marketing and sales manager for the Cape Town branch.
He is a highly experienced auctioneer and has participated in the world championships in the United States of America as well as the auctioneer for the well known television series The Block.
He has sold millions of Rands worth of properties as a business development manager for Auction Alliance and his passion is auctioneering for hundreds of charity auctions across the board nationally and internationally. These include the likes of Nelson Mandela, Oprah Winfrey, Bono, Peter Gabriel, Peter Dirk Uys, and other world famous organizations.
His enthusiastic and entertaining auctioneering skills electrify the audience sending them into wild but controlled bidding frenzies.
